WHAT TO EXPECT
Group size of 35-40 singers. Drinks and biscuits provided at an interval half way through rehearsal. Please bring your own mug! Having a pencil is really helpful for rehearsals too. We are a very welcoming group. We have sheet music and lyrics for you to choose from and you’ll be welcomed by members and our choir leader and pianist too. We like to have a laugh and leave the troubles of the day behind.

The People’s Show Choir in Newport is a warm, welcoming community where anyone can sing, make new friends, and feel part of something special. Whether you’re a first-time singer or returning to music after years away, you’ll be supported every step of the way. Run by the award‑winning charity The People’s Orchestra, we offer two free taster sessions so you can come along, join the fun, and see how quickly you’ll feel at home.
