Terms and Conditions: “Finish the Lyrics” Competition

1. Promoter
The “Finish the Lyrics” competition is organised by The People’s Orchestra and Show Choir Podcast (the “Promoter”).

2. Eligibility
Entry is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over, excluding employees of the Promoter, their immediate families, and anyone else connected with the competition.

Only one entry per person is permitted.

3. How to Enter
Participants must listen to the specified episode of The People’s Orchestra and Show Choir Podcast and complete the “Finish the Lyrics” challenge as instructed.

Entries for each competition must be submitted via WhatsApp voice note as specified in that episode. The competition opens at the release date of each podcast episode and closes on 20th of the month at 11pm. Late entries will not be accepted.

4. Winner Selection
The winner will be selected based on the funniest and most creative answer as judged by a panel of representatives from The People’s Orchestra and Show Choir Podcast. Judging criteria will include originality, humour, and relevance to the competition theme.

5. Prize
The prize for each competition will vary and will be announced during the relevant episode of The People’s Orchestra and Show Choir Podcast. No cash alternative will be offered. The prize is non-transferable and non-refundable. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value if necessary.

6. Notification of Winner
The winner will be notified via WhatsApp using the phone number provided at the time of entry within one week of the closing date.

The winner will be required to confirm their acceptance of the prize and arrange delivery details within one week of the notification being sent.

If the winner does not respond within the specified time frame, or if the delivery arrangements cannot be confirmed, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

Winning entries will also be played in the following podcast episode.

7. Use of Entries
By entering, participants grant the Promoter permission to use their entry, name and/or likeness for promotional purposes related to the competition, without additional compensation.

8. Data Protection
Any personal data provided will be processed in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy and only used for the purposes of administering the competition.

9. Liability
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to technical faults, network, or server issues. The Promoter is not responsible for any damage, loss, or disappointment suffered by any participant as a result of entering the competition or accepting the prize.

10. General
The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition or these terms and conditions without prior notice in the event of circumstances beyond its control. By entering the competition, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

11. Governing Law
The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
