Gary Jones

Gary is the Media & Engagement Assistant (Live Arts & Events) at The People’s Orchestra, joining the team in 2025 to bring fresh creativity and energy to the role. He looks after the orchestra’s website and social media, helping connect audiences with the magic of live performance. A graduate of the University of Wolverhampton with a degree in Animation, Gary’s standout achievement to date has been seeing his graduation film Overtime shown on all 22 BBC Big Screens across the UK, a career highlight that reflects his passion for storytelling and visual creativity. Animation has always been close to Gary’s heart. He’s inspired by classics like Wallace and Gromit and Fireman Sam and is a huge fan of Dragon Ball. Away from the screen, his love of music spans generations, from timeless icons like The Beatles to the high-energy sounds of Queens of the Stone Age.
