Elliot Atkinson

Elliot is the accompanist for the People’s Show Choir Halesowen, having officially joined in June 2026. He started learning the piano at the age of 6 and has not stopped since! Elliot has a strong musical theatre background having attended Stagecoach Performing Arts for almost 12 years, having performed on two West End stages and Cardiff’s New Theatre.

Elliot has recently graduated from university with a 2:1 in Journalism and Media & Culture, using his final year as an opportunity to showcase his musical knowledge and skills. His biggest achievement whilst at university was creating a short documentary on the growth of the arts in Worcestershire and recorded and played in segments of music by Worcestershire-born composer Edward Elgar. He received a university prize for original broadcast journalism for his work.

Elliot now lives and breathes piano, particularly in TPO as he is also the pianist in The People’s Orchestra, having taken part at a recording day at Ruddock Performing Arts Centre, and his first performance at Symphony Hall. Elliot is very excited to be part of both TPO and TPSC and looks forward to future concerts with the choir and orchestra.
