Chris Weber
Choir Leader for The People's Show Choir Halesowen, Sutton Coldfield and Choir Brigade
Chris lives and breathes The People's Show Choir engaging with choir members, answering any queries and improving the overall experience of their membership as well as ensuring the administrative side runs effectively. Some of his more fun tasks are scouting for locations to expand our ever-growing choir network, managing membership growth and working with the team to create new experiences, tours and community initiatives. In addition to this, he is actively involved as Choir Leader for The People's Show Choirs of Halesowen, Sutton Coldfield and The Choir Brigade in Birmingham.
Coming from a musical family, Chris has sung in choirs since his early childhood and later pursued a keen interest in choral conducting for community choirs in Sutton Coldfield since 2004 (and has never looked back!). He also plays a dazzling-shiny blue Trumpet in The People's Orchestra.
When he's not at TPO, choir leading or tooting his own horn, Chris's hobbies are urban exploring, non-league football and catching up with friends at his local pub. He enjoys listening to an eclectic variety of music but his favourite artists are Roxette, Alanis Morissette, Catatonia and Michael Jackson. His favourite massed concert piece was the song 'May It Be' from Lord of the Rings.
