People’s Show Choir performed at historic Malvern park

Two free concerts were performed in Malvern’s famous Priory Park in August. Members of the People’s Show Choir sang for the public on Saturday August 10.

Passers-by were entertained for free at The Bandstand between midday and 12.30pm and from 2pm and 2.40pm as part of the choir’s mini tour Summer series of events.

It was music to the ears of locals at the Worcestershire beauty spot that is renowned for attracting musical greats from Edward Elgar to Swedish opera ‘Nightingale’ Jenny Lind.

The performances came as a new People’s Show Choir launches in Malvern in September. Members also chatted to any interested in singing about how they could join the group and what difference it had made to their lives.
