You do not need to audition, or know anyone before you arrive. Just come along, join in with the group, and give yourself two sessions to decide.

This is the easiest way to make sure you do not miss your first session. You’ve already done the brave bit by signing up. Now give yourself the chance to walk through the door.
What to expect at your first session
When you arrive, you’ll be welcomed and shown where to go. You’ll usually start with a relaxed warm-up, then learn songs as part of the group. There is no pressure to get everything right.
There is normally a short social break too, so you can meet people naturally without awkward introductions.
Coming on your own?
That’s completely normal. Lots of people do. Most members came to their first session not knowing anyone. You will not be the only new person, and you will not be expected to know what you are doing straight away.
Before you come
Bring a drink, your confirmation email, and a pencil if you have one. That’s it. You do not need to prepare anything.
