Thank you for signing up for your two free sessions. We’re looking forward to welcoming you to your first rehearsal. Our ensembles do not use an audition’s process, and you don’t need to know anyone before you arrive, just come along and see how it feels for you.

This is the easiest way to make sure you do not miss your first session.
What to expect at your first session
When you arrive, you’ll be welcomed by ensemble leaders or TPO Staff and shown where to go.
For musicians joining our orchestras or big band, please bring a music stand and pencil with you, alongside your instrument. For rehearsing with our choirs, please bring a pencil and your confirmation email. All your music will be ready at your first rehearsal – you do not need to prepare anything else!
There is normally a short social break during our rehearsals, so you can meet people naturally without awkward introductions.
Coming on your own?
That’s completely normal, lots of people do. You will not be the only new person, and you will not be expected to know what you are doing straight away.
