Live music under the stars at Birmingham summer concert

Music lovers can enjoy an enchanted outdoor orchestral concert as the sun sets over Birmingham’s Cannon Hill Park. The Summer Jam Under The Sky charity gig is set to be an uplifting al fresco experience to make the most of the holiday season.
The People’s Orchestra(TPO), The People’s Big Band, and The Rusty Player’s Orchestras from Black Country and South Birmingham are coming together to perform timeless movie soundtracks at the special event. The one-off gig is at the height of summer on Sunday July 27.
They will perform in the outdoor area at Midlands Arts Centre(MAC), which is part of stunning Cannon Hill Park in Edgbaston, directly opposite the famous Warwickshire County Cricket ground.
Guests will enjoy live music from 6.30pm with a bar available to buy drinks throughout. The concert comes to a close shortly after sunset at around 9.30pm.
“It will be an unforgettable summer evening of music under the open sky,” said Amy Marshall, Orchestra Manager at TPO.
“We have planned a cosy evening filled with the magic of film music with something for everyone to enjoy.
“Our ensembles bring you timeless cinematic classics. Whether you’re a die-hard music lover or simply looking for a perfect summer outing, this is your chance to experience the joy of live music in a truly laid-back, welcoming setting with your family and friends.”
