Loading Events

Since 2024, members from our choirs and ensembles within The People’s Orchestra Charity get together annually for a tour to showcase their music to a wider national as well as international audience. With a huge success in Kraków, Poland last year, The People’s Show Choirs, The People’s Orchestra and The Rusty Player’s Orchestra are coming to Inverness this May!

On Sunday 25th May 2025, our singers from 13 choirs across the UK (Including the local Black Isle’s Show Choir) plus musicians from two orchestras (The People’s Orchestra and The Rusty Player’s Orchestra) will perform songs from stage and screen in a concert, starting at 7:30pm at the Inverness Cathedral. Join us and hum along to well-known favourites from Mary Poppins and The Sound of Music, enjoy beautiful ballads from The Lord of The Rings and Tangled, and clap along to classics from Guys and Dolls and Grease. Get your tickets now!

This concert is a part of the Scottish Highlands Tour of The People’s Orchestra Charity (Saturday 24th May 2025 to Tuesday 27th May 2025). In addition to the evening concert at Inverness Cathedral, pop up performances will also be held on Monday 26th May 2025 at various spots. More updates are coming soon in our event page.

This performance is presented by The People’s Orchestra Charity staff, and will feature musicians and singers from The People’s Show Choir (various locations), The People’s Orchestra and The Rusty Player’s Orchestra (various locations).
