WHAT TO EXPECT

Group size of 25-30 singers. Hot drinks and biscuits are provided at an interval half way through rehearsal, but please bring a bottle of water for during the session. Having a pencil is really helpful for rehearsals too so you can make notes on your music. We are a very welcoming group. We have sheet music and lyrics for you to choose from and you’ll be welcomed by members, our choir leader and pianist too. We like to have a laugh and leave the troubles of the day behind.

LOOKING FOR A FRIENDLY CHOIR?

The People’s Show Choir in Dorridge is a warm, welcoming community where anyone can sing, make new friends, and feel part of something special. Whether you’re a first-time singer or returning to music after years away, you’ll be supported every step of the way. Run by the award‑winning charity The People’s Orchestra, we offer two free taster sessions so you can come along, join the fun, and see how quickly you’ll feel at home.

TESTIMONIALS

I’d just like to “sing out my praise and joy” at how fab being a part of this amazing, successful, healing, fun choir had been for me over the past 14 months. Liz, our choir leader in Dorridge, is fab.

Barry, Dorridge

Rehearsals are good fun with Liz, such a good teacher and a group of like-minded people all who enjoy singing and a good time together. Great opportunities for concerts around the country. I would recommend TPSC to anyone – good value for money and supporting charities too.

Kath, Dorridge

Our Monday evenings are joyous, led by brilliant musicians who make us amateurs sound good. The camaraderie is fantastic and I have made many new fabulous friends! On top of this, it is a charity supporting others at the same time as bringing us joy! This is a choir like no other. Something very special.

Melanie, Dorridge

Great choir to sing with and learning new songs is a pleasure with such fantastic, friendly, helpful tutors. Try it you will be amazed.

Chris, Dorridge
