Baz Chapman

Accompanist to The People's Show Choir Black Isle

Baz is an accompanist for The People’s Show Choir Black Isle, having previously been an accompanist for The People’s Show Choir Halesowen. He also writes and arranges music, and was the choral arranger for the Legends Symphonica programme performed by The People's Orchestra and The People’s Show Choir.

Baz is a part-time Joint Head of the Sing Up Foundation, which champions singing as a way to support children & young people’s mental health and wellbeing, Manager of the Singing for Health Network, and co-founder (with The People’s Orchestra Choral Director Ula Weber) and General Manager of the National Teachers’ Choir. He is also a freelance arts and education consultant and facilitator.

Living in the Scottish Highlands is the perfect setting to pursue his great love of hillwalking, and he is busy ticking off all the mountains he’s dreamed of climbing since he was a kid!
