What People Are Saying About Us

I had my second choir rehearsal with Chris at Halesowen last night, in the soprano section. It was fantastic. I loved the warm friendliness and the impressive standard of conducting and singing. I have been in many choirs over the years, but this experience stood out for me.

If you enjoy singing and making friends give The People’s Show Choir a try. Even if you have had a bad day and are feeling low as soon as you walk into the room you will feel uplifted. It is one thing you will never regret. 😊

I never would have dreamt of the abundance of joy that being part of The People’s Show Choir brings. I set off to Halesowen on a Monday evening, (a tad grumpily after work) and within minutes am laughing and topping up with the endorphins from singing in a group. Everyone is welcoming and inclusive and friendships have blossomed. Our choir leader is hilarious and brings out the best in all of us. The high from singing our hearts out in concerts, with a full orchestra, lasts for days and there have been unexpected delights too - such as performing in the market squares of Poland. I just cannot recommend TPSC enough. If you have an element of reticence, like I did 3 years ago now, just dip your toe for the first two, free weeks. I guarantee you’ll be glad you made the step and end up being as evangelical about singing in The People’s Show Choir as I am!
