Join the People's Orchestra

"One of the best and most inspirational community orchestras in the UK!" (cited BBC)

The People's Orchestra is a welcoming and inclusive community orchestra of advanced* musicians. The majority of our repertoire is film, game and popular classical music, and we do not restrict the number of instruments in each of our sections. You can join us here or contact us to find out more.

Over the past couple of years, The People’s Orchestra have performed in the Commonwealth GamesHandover to a global TV audience, enjoyed an exchange trip to Montreal, Canada, and performed at the International Tolkien Society’s 50th  Anniversary celebrations in Birmingham.

With even larger events and performances planned in the run up to the Commonwealth Games in 2022, which are being held in Birmingham, now is the time to join us and take advantage of these great opportunities. In addition, we also have several exciting concerts coming up through 2021, meaning there are plenty of opportunities to play!
