The Maxine Moody Scholarship for French Horn is awarded to one horn player each year and is open to first and second-year undergraduate BMus students. The prize is designed to support the future career of a talented young musician through performance opportunities, mentoring and financial support. The recipient of the award will also have a performance opportunity to play a concerto with The People’s Orchestra.
This scholarship is funded through the generosity of the Youth Music Foundation and The People’s Orchestra Charity
To be awarded to an up-and-coming French Horn player aged 18 – 23Â
£1,000 grant to support your musical careerFree membership for an active role in The People’s Orchestra including weekly rehearsals and regular concertsIncludes the opportunity to play a solo piece in concert
