Still Unsure?

We are a friendly amateur orchestra for advanced musicians aged 14+

A diverse group of people from all walks of life with one thing in common: the love of making music together

No limits on the number of instruments in a section

No auditions - we trust you to judge that you play to the required standard and keep practising to maintain it. That's why we're here after all - to make great music. (And if you feel you're not quite there, you can always join our Rusty Players Orchestra until you are!)

Online provision are available when lockdown means we are not able to rehearse - Talk The Score sessions delve into our music library and look at how we would perform pieces, followed by a 'play along' to a recording of the piece.

The People’s Orchestra rehearses at Trefoil House, Brownsea Drive, Blucher Street, Birmingham B1 1QL on a Sunday afternoon from 4pm to 7pm.

The orchestra is back into rehearsals with Covid-19 secure procedures in place but some restrictions do apply in line with current Government Guidelines.
