Looking for a friendly choir near you? The People’s Show Choir in Wolverhampton is part of an award‑winning network of community choirs run by UK charity The People’s Orchestra. We believe singing should be for everyone — that’s why there are no auditions, no need to read music, and two free taster sessions for every newcomer.

As part of The People’s Orchestra charity network, your membership directly supports our Community Grants Scheme, helping to fund creative opportunities for local groups and families experiencing hardship. Every note you sing helps improve lives right across the UK.

Hear what our choir leader Natasha has to say about the group

“I love leading this choir as it gives us all an energy boost at the beginning of the week!”

You Belong Here

No auditions. No judgement. Just real people coming together to share in the joy of music.
Whether you can read music or not, there’s a place for you.

“I hadn’t sung in years and was nervous to start. But the moment I stepped in, I felt part of something. Now I can’t imagine life without it.”

Loneliness Stops Here

Life can feel isolating, especially after major changes – a move, retirement, or loss. Singing together builds bonds that last well beyond rehearsal.

Every week, members walk in as individuals and walk out as a community.

“The choir gave me my people back.”

No Musical Experience Needed

Just bring yourself.

We teach everything as we go – and make it fun. Our choir leaders are warm, energetic, and brilliant at building confidence.
