For Orchestral Musicians and Choral Singers

Registration is Now Open for Commonwealth Residents

What is Opportunity?

Registration is now open for musicians and singers to take part in the world premiere of an uplifting and unifying soundtrack titled We Are One, created by award-winning film composer John Koutselinis.

Amateur musicians and singers can get involved by recording themselves individually or with their music ensemble. Once all video performances have been submitted, we will collate a video of the final piece, to premiere in June 2022.

Opportunity brings together singers and musicians from around the world and their love of music, showcasing the some of the best repertoire of the Commonwealth through an ambitious collaboration unlike any other.

This international performance will be shared during the summer of 2022 as part of the Commonwealth Games celebrating the Commonwealth and its music.

How do I get involved?

Please complete this form. Please choose either the Opportunity Musicians if you are a musician, or Opportunity Singers if you are a singer to secure your place. All members of an orchestra or choir music register separately.

If you would like to contact us before signing up, ask us any questions or would like further information, please email us at ccmi@thepeoplesorchestra.com.

We would love as many people as possible to be involved in this, and as such there is no limit to the number of people or groups who can take part.

Please note that submissions may be exempt from use if they do not fall within our specified criteria.

Shortly we will send you a musician pack with all the information you will need to take part. Please note: you will need to send us your recordings – audio in an MP3 format, with a high-quality video. Each pack contains instructions to help you record yourself playing or singing.

You must sign up by November 30th, 2021.
