For Orchestral Musicians and Choral Singers

Registration is Now Open for Commonwealth Residents

What is Curiosity?

Orchestral groups, choirs and individuals from Commonwealth nations are invited to come to Birmingham, UK, on the week July 18th to 24th 2022 for a series of events celebrating the best art and culture from across the Commonwealth. Invitations are also open to those of Commonwealth heritage based within the United Kingdom.

Our gala concerts and exhibition event will include a variety of professionally-led workshops, a performance of John Koutselinis’ We Are One, and the final ‘Spirit’ composition piece.

The week will culminate in a showcase of the entire Commonwealth Community Music Initiative, which will be broadcast across the world and available to share with your communities. We would love for you to be a part of this exciting event ahead of the Commonwealth Games.

How do I get involved?

If you are interested in coming to Birmingham to perform in this project we need to know in advance, and this will be arranged on a case-by-case basis.

To sign up, please click on either Curiosity Musicians (if you are part of an Orchestra) or Curiosity Singers (if you are part of a Choir) and purchase a ticket.

If you would like to contact us before signing up, ask us any questions or would like further information, please email us at ccmi@thepeoplesorchestra.com.

You must sign up by December 31st, 2021.

We would love as many people as possible to be involved in this, and as such there is no limit to the number of people or groups who can take part.
